We are in a season where we are faced with so much uncertainties, like our health (coronavirus), the economy, finances, employment, and the future our children.
We might find ourselves wondering if things can go back to normal? Let me encourage you that it is just a season, it shall pass.
Going through this season, because of the circumstances around you, you might find yourself losing sight of where you are heading to; nevertheless, you must keep the focus!
Hebrews 12:2 says we should be looking unto Jesus, who is the author and finisher of our faith … Learn from Jesus who never lost sight of where He was heading, in spite all He went through (suffering, persecution, pain).
May you always look unto Jesus and not at your circumstances/ situation. Picture an athlete in a race. In spite of the challenges along the way as he/ she runs, the athlete does not quit the race, but perseveres until the end, without losing the aim of reaching the goal. May you never lose sight of where you are heading!
Through all this, may you persevere on this journey called life. Have the mindset of athletes who stay on the path, never shifting their focus from the goal as they run their own race, at their own pace, in their own lane. Fix your focus on Jesus Christ!
