Hold the government accountable

The people of South Africa demand that those evil thugs who blatantly stole our taxes and cleaned out the state coffers through diabolical fraud and corruption must pay for their crime.

Joy Kriel from Roodepoort writes:
I have read the letter, Hold the Government to account published in the Roodepoort Record of 26 March and must say, I agree wholeheartedly with you, Thabile.

We, the people of South Africa demand that those evil thugs who blatantly stole our taxes and cleaned out the state coffers through diabolical fraud and corruption must pay for their crime.

We demand every cent back. Not only jail time of 25 years for each one of them, but sell everything they now own, bought with our tax monies.

Put those monies back in our state coffers to be used for financing disadvantaged children’s education, building and maintaining infrastructure, building and maintaining schools, fixing and maintaining road networks … and the list goes on and on.

Those who are involved in organised crime syndicates and those who support them by buying those goods should be charged with high treason against our country and her people.

We must clean up our country of all this filth.
