La Salle athletes shine at prestige athletics meeting

Eight athletes from La Salle College have been lauded for putting up a good performance at the recent Prestige athletics event held in Boksburg on the East Rand.

The Principal’s Assistant, Pat van der Walt says, “These athletes came out on top in each of their respective events”.

Amy Ackerman took gold in the 100m and 200m for girls U/14, Franklin Xabendlini won gold in the 400m for boys U/14, Ronaldo Chadinha took gold in the 400m and 800m for boys U/15, Kamogelo Morero won gold in 800m for boys U/16, Ethan Oerson took gold in the 100m and 200m for boys U/14, Devlin Goodgall won gold in the 100m, 200m and 400m for boys U/17, Bongani Khumalo took gold in the 1 500m for boys U/16 and Dale Berry won gold in the 1 500m for boys U/15.
