Club honoured at award ceremony

24 Seven Gymnastics and Trampoline club shines

Gymnasts from the 24 Seven Gymnastics and Trampoline club had an excellent year, and were honoured for their achievements during two end-of-year prize-giving ceremonies.

Luitha Roux, the head coach at the club, said she was very proud of each one of her gymnasts, all of whom had worked very hard throughout the year.

JT Roux was awarded the Talent Africa To Achiever at the club.

“With these achievements, they will now see that hard work always pays off,” she said.

During the Central Gauteng Gymnastics Association prize-giving, the club received the trophies for Club Champion Levels 1 and 3 for Acrobatic Gymnastics, and Luitha received Central Gauteng Colours for coaching Acro Gymnastics and trampoline. She was also selected as Coach of the Year.

Nineteen of the club’s gymnasts also received Central Gauteng Colours for trampolining.
