Over 300 lace up for a good cause

The Walking the Talk Foundation and Monument Primary School hosted a 5km walk at Ruimsig Stadium to raise funds for a new sports facility.

Parents, school staff and members of the West Rand community rallied behind a good cause at Ruimsig Stadium, where more than 300 participants took part in a 5km walk to raise funds for a new sports facility at Monument Primary School.

According to the school’s marketer, Mandy Joubert, the event brought the school community together in support of the initiative.

“It was great fun to see the Monument community enjoy the walk and support us. The initiative gave us a chance to connect and work on team building with the school family,” she said.
