Team Rage kickboxers making a big splash at the Jungle War

Five kickboxers from the Team Rage Kickboxing Club showed off their kicks and punches at the annual Jungle War Tournament on 22 February.

They not only competed against some of the best kickboxers, but also made their club proud by bagging three gold and four silver medals.

• Dyllan Opperman competed in two categories; he won a gold medal for full contact, and a silver medal in the semi-contact category

• Mina Lombaard won two silver medals in the semi-contact and fitness category

• Jonny Smit won a gold medal in semi-contact

• Ruan Minnaar won a silver medal in semi-contact

• Tathen van Rensburg won a silver medal in the semi-contact category
