Learners show off dance moves to prepare for Sacopa

Dancers, singers, models, actors, drama students and musicians playing musical instruments are encouraged to enter the Sacopa event.

On Wednesday, 9 June The King’s School West Rand learners showed off some dance moves as they prepared for The South African Championship of Performing Arts (Sacopa).

The name of the group is “Spirit of Africa” and the members are Phikolomzi Motsoetla, Mariela Romanelli, Matshidiso Ragimana and Luyanda Nxumalo.

The auditions will take place in July at The King’s School West Rand and the prestigious Sacopa event will take place in Rustenburg from 1 to 10 October.

“Should you wish to enter your child for Sacopa, parents are advised to please email the school at marketing@tkswr.co.za for further details,” said The King’s School West Rand marketing manager, Michelle Dos Ramos.
