Twizza Super School Series to be held in Ruimsig
Each school will be required to enter a team of 15 athletes and categories will include male, female and combined winners’ competition.
The much-anticipated Twizza Super School Series Regional Qualifier 1 will take place at Ruimsig Athletics Stadium in Roodepoort on Wednesday, September 29.
This encounter will be followed by the Regional Qualifier 2 at the Greenpoint Athletics Stadium on Saturday, October 23 with the National Final coming back to Ruimsig Athletics Stadium on Saturday, February 19 next year.
Launched in 2019, the Twizza Super School Series has quickly become a highlight on the schools’ athletics calendar and has one clear goal in mind – to crown SA’s best athletics school.
The winning school will take home bragging rights for one year, and attempt to defend their title in the following year.

“Not only will the Twizza Super School Series provide athletes with the opportunity to perform at a higher level, but it will also expose the next generation of athletes to the mechanics of a major series from call rooms to heats and finals.

Entry for competing schools is free of charge. Team managers are advised to download the entry form from the event website www.superschoolseries.com and send the completed entry form to info@superschoolseries.com.
Due to Covid-19 protocols learners supporting, spectators and other supporters will not be permitted.

The Twizza Super School Series will boast an action-packed Open Medley Relay Category for 100m, 200m, 300m and 400m boys and girls.
This category is guaranteed to add an interesting spin on team selection.
