Young acrobat thrives beyond her expectations
The young acrobat exceeds her expectations and qualifies for the Gauteng Championships.
The Acrobatic Solo Dance Sport Association is known for its prestigious dedication to showcasing the individual talent of acrobats through different forms of dance, skills and creativity.
Jennifer-Ann Adam joined Trinity Dance Company (TDC) in November 2023 and is a learner at The King’s School West Rand. She was blessed with the opportunity to compete in the West Rand Regional Championships on April 14.
“Jennifer-Ann is a quiet and shy girl, however as soon as you put her on that stage you will be surprised just as we were. She is one of our most hard-working novice students who listens and remains consistent with getting her tricks and choreography right.
“She showed the most progress in a short period and on Sunday she achieved a brilliant level score of 6.13 which qualifies for the upcoming Gauteng Championships,” Antoinette Modise, one of the head coaches at TDC, said.
The Gauteng Championships will take place on May 11 and 12 in Fairlands.
