Lions players meet their fans
Jonsson Workwear hosted a meet and greet with the Lions rugby players for friends and families.
Rugby enthusiasts and their families had an unforgettable experience at Jonsson Workwear at Kwena Square, which hosted a meet and greet with the Lions rugby team on October 5.
After a successful 52–21 win against Edinburgh on their home ground, Emirates Airline Park, this was the perfect opportunity to meet with their heroes and celebrate their victory by receiving autographs and a little motivation.
Marketing director Holly Nemathithi told the Roodepoort Northsider that many fans locally and outside the area made the effort to meet the players and take as many pictures as they could.
As the fans chanted their victory songs, the players welcomed them with open arms and fresh ink to sign their jerseys and notepads.
“We love keeping the spirit of rugby alive for our community members, and we are honoured to have hosted the Lions. They inspire the younger generation to keep pursuing their dreams and bring smiles to their little faces,” Holly said.
