Panorama defeats Wits in heated match
Panorama FC's U19 boys triumph with 3–0 win against Wits Junior FC.
The U19 Panorama boys team emerged victorious after a heated rivalry between the Wits Junior Football Club (FC) at the Panorama Football Club on October 5.
As part of the Gauteng Development League (GDL), the Titans (Panorama) were determined to move up the log and place in the top five. It was a derby day with the U13, U15, U17, and U19 teams going head-to-head against one another in a 90-minute match to determine the winner.
The game started on a light note, with both teams easing their way into the match. Panorama’s defence managed to keep Wits from scoring a goal in the first half, leaving the team to apply more pressure.
After a missed penalty from a Panorama player, the team was more than determined to make up for it. The first half was reaching its end and a striker from the Panorama team secured a goal for the team to lead in the first half.

Both coaches from the Wits and Panorama sides had a brief chat with their players on certain areas where they can improve, as well as discussing their game plan for the second half.
During the second half, the intensity was felt from the field to the stands as supporters yelled out with passion for their boys. Coaches were on their feet, anxious about who would score the next goal.
Panorama scored an additional two goals, winning 3–0 against Wits. The Titans are currently 10th on the GDL log with 16 points, just beneath the Wits team with 17 points and one point difference in their goal difference.
