Her dedication and talent promises a good career for her.

Caitlyn Paige Edwards has had an exceptional first year in competitive archery.

In just over a year of training, the Grade Nine learner at Crawford International Ruimsig has won multiple medals, establishing herself as one of South Africa’s top young archers.

At the National Archery Championship on October 12, Caitlyn earned a silver medal, competing against the country’s best. She also took silver in the Indoor Archery Competition on September 14, showcasing her precision in a high-pressure indoor setting. The following day, Caitlyn won gold at the Gauteng Provincial World Archery Indoor Championships, proving her excellence at a provincial level.

According to the school’s media director, Lindsay van Boven, Caitlyn has been training with Boskruin Archers at Marks Park Sports Club and has quickly advanced in the sport, supported by dedicated coaches. Her achievements are a testament to her hard work and promising future in archery, and her school and family couldn’t be prouder.

“We are so proud of Caitlyn’s achievements and can’t wait to see her continue to soar in her archery journey,” remarks Lindsay.
