Laerskool Florida celebrated 75 years with a thrilling interhouse athletics day.

On Friday, January 17, Laerskool Florida celebrated its 75th birthday in style, combining the milestone with an action-packed interhouse athletics day.

The day was a commemoration of the school’s legacy and brought together learners, staff, and parents for a fun-filled day of competition and camaraderie.

The energy was spectacular, the weather was beautiful, and the spirit was absolutely infectious. The learners participated in everything from long jump, high jump, sprints, and shotput while parents stood on the sideline cheering and motivating them.

Mellisa Kruger, the school’s media liaison, said, “The athletics program showcased outstanding talent and team spirit as learners competed with enthusiasm. Adding to the festive mood there were special surprises like cupcakes prepared by the learners and parents that made the day extra special.

“This milestone celebration was a fitting tribute to 75 years of excellence and community at Laerskool Florida. With gratitude, we look back on decades of memories, growth, and blessings. All glory to God who has guided us through this incredible journey.
