Young acrobat wins big at competition

Her journey is inspiring and shows what a perfect blend of dedication and talent can achieve.

Mieke Giacopelli has made her family, school, and dance studio proud after taking part in the Acrobatic Federation of South Africa competition in November. Mieke trains at J & C Dance Creations, and she has been working hard on her moves.

Her hard work paid off as she came home with three medals, including a gold medal for her solo, for which she delivered an outstanding performance. To top it all, Mieke also placed second in her age group, which is a big achievement for her.

Mieke competed in the group category with her teammates. They placed second as a team and won a superior gold medal because the group performed well together and demonstrated how much time they had spent practising their performance.

She is dedicated and always gives it her all, according to her family and teachers. They said they are happy with the amount of effort she puts into her training and the manner in which she competes.
