In the U11 clash, the teams drew 2–2 with Ayabonga Nkosi scoring both goals for the Eagles.

The U13A match was equally intense, with the Eagles drawing 2–2 against Global, thanks to Thato Mpshe’s brace.

The U8 team travelled to Ruimsig for their away match against Education Through Soccer (ETS) but came up short, losing 3–1, while the U10A (blue) team secured a thrilling 2–1 win against ETS.

According to Sekhoanyane, these weekend fixtures provided valuable insights into the team’s preparedness, strengths, and areas for improvement ahead of the league season.

“Competing against older and physically stronger teams has contributed positively to the players’ development and mental toughness.

“With teams ranging from U8 to U15, the academy remains committed to developing young athletes in line with its philosophy of growth, resilience, and excellence.

“The focus now shifts to fine-tuning performance as the league kicks off in April,” he said.
