Rising swimming star impresses at championships

Although she narrowly missed taking the podium, she walked away with valuable experience.

A young swimmer from Charter College International High School has made her school proud with her outstanding performance at the South African National Junior Championships.

The competition was held at the Newton Park Swimming Pool in Gqeberha from March 21 to 25, where Eliecia Chivandire achieved great results. More than 500 young swimmers from across South Africa and neighbouring countries came together to show their best swimming skills and take wins home.
