Parklive – Gourmet food and music festival

Don't miss the family-friendly music festival featuring SA’s talented musicians plus the best in gourmet street food.

The Parklive Gourmet Food & Music Festival, is happening on Saturday 5 November at Marks Park Sports Club, Emmarentia, Joburg. The impressive live music line-up includes Jeremy Loops, Prime Circle, Just Jinjer and Lee Cole. Added to the mix is The One Who Sings (Zolani Mahola) and Amistat (from Australia).

The One Who Sings (Zolani Mahola) is most famously known as lead singer of the internationally acclaimed South African music group Freshlyground. In 2019, The One Who Sings officially announced the launch of her solo career as a musician, storyteller and transformational speaker.  Amistat are twin brothers Josef and Jan Prasil from Australia who find themselves in the soundscape of a modern Simon and Garfunkel with influences from the likes of Ben Howard, Kings of Convenience, and Kodaline.

Come hungry and enjoy the carefully curated food village from only the best the city has to offer in gourmet street food.

For rugby fans, the Springbok vs Ireland rugby match will be screened at 7:30 pm when the live music ends – bars will remain open for the duration of the match.
