Get ready for Black Friday

Rosebank Mall is gearing up to accommodate a number of shoppers anticipated to visit the mall for the busiest shopping day of the year, Black Friday.

This shopping day is an annual American tradition that began in 1932, taking place on the first Friday after Thanksgiving. Major retailers offer massive discounts and promotions to American shoppers.

South Africans have adopted this tradition and many spend thousands on the day doing their Christmas shopping.

According to Gaby Peters, Rosebank Mall marketing manager, a number of stores within the mall will be participating and shoppers will be getting great value for their money. “Fifty stores will be offering great specials and the mall will be offering free parking for the day,” said Peters.

“There will be awesome specials from major and smaller stores.”

All stores will be open from 9am to 7pm.
