St Teresa’s Senior Primary School’s Grade 7 learners have embarked on a remarkable journey of compassion and generosity with their recent visit to Friends of Rescued Animals (Fora) in Tarlton, Krugersdorp.

The learners, armed with donations ranging from pet food to blankets, immersed themselves in meaningful interactions with the animals under Fora’s care. Their visit not only marked the beginning of term 2 but also symbolised the school’s unwavering commitment to community outreach and instilling values of compassion in its learners.

Fora, a beacon of hope for animals in need within the local community, provides a sanctuary where every creature is treated with dignity and compassion. From neglected pets to survivors of abusive environments, Fora pledges lifelong care and support to its residents, ensuring they receive the love and attention they deserve.

Principal Lindsey Verster issued a heartfelt plea to the public, urging them to consider adoption from Fora. With unwavering dedication to animal welfare, Fora offers not just companionship but also the promise of a brighter future for every animal in its care. Verster emphasised that every adoption not only transforms the life of a pet but also supports Fora’s noble mission.

Fora warmly welcomes visitors to its premises at Plot 11, Reydal, Tarlton, providing opportunities for hands-on engagement with the animals. Supporting Fora’s mission is as simple as visiting their website at www.forasa.co.za or reaching out via phone on 082 336 5568.
