The 2025 academic year began with excitement, curiosity, and hope as schools opened doors to a new generation of young learners.

Craighall Primary School headmistress Andrea Prout-Jones:
“I am excited to have had the first school day of 2025 with a full school made up of Grade R–Grade 7, and have a certain plan for the year ahead that aims for everyone to excel and remain kind while doing that. We have a theme called: 212 Degrees, meaning at 211 degrees water boils, and then comes steam which can get an engine going. We want to put steam behind everything, and have the engine going for all our learners who I hope will have an amazing year.”
