Parktown Girls learners chosen for top youth leadership programme

An inspiring opportunity awaits a group of learners set to grow as leaders in a unique setting.

Three learners from Parktown High School for Girls have earned places in a prestigious leadership initiative aimed at empowering the next generation of changemakers.

Lesedi Molete, Kim Fungazan and Gabriella Wöstmann will represent their school in the Spirit of Youth Programme, a dynamic leadership journey facilitated by the Gordon Institute of Business Science. The trio will take part in monthly sessions from April through to September 2025, engaging with peers from across Gauteng.

The initiative, supported by the Gauteng Department of Education, seeks to nurture socially conscious, forward-thinking young leaders. Participants explore themes such as ethics, diversity, innovation and active citizenship, equipping them with the tools to make a positive impact in their communities.
