Pirates Road Running Club hosted a successful 21km mountain race
Pirates Road Running Club was founded in 1977 and is a social club for runners of all abilities.

With hills surrounding the Greenside area, the Pirates Road Running Club hosted its ‘over the mountain’ 21km race on February 18, which saw runners finishing at Pirates Club.

The winners were as follows: 1st place for women – Irvette van Zyl in 01:21:07; 2nd place for Emma Pallant in 01:18:00. Nedbank runner Onalenne Khonkhonbe was also a winner and finished in 01:08:28.
