More on-board with Hyundai H-1

Hyundai add 4 more seats since its update in 2018.

A fourth row of seats has been added to the H-1 Elite bus, increasing capacity from eight to 12 occupants. The result is a 3-3-3-3 configuration with a narrow seat in the middle of the three front rows, the aforementioned are able to fold up to allow for access to the rows at the back.

The added rear bench can move forward for increased luggage capacity. The Elite bus still comes with an infotainment centre with a large touch-screen, Bluetooth connectivity, cruise control, rear camera with a display in the rear-view mirror and Electronic Stability Programme (ESP).

Motivation for the 12-seater comes in the form of a 2 497 cc turbocharged diesel engine, delivering 125 kW and 441 N.m of torque coupled to a 5-speed automatic gearbox driving the rear wheels.

The 2.5-litre Elite 12-Seater Bus will be priced at R664 900 which includes Hyundai’s 7-year / 200 000 km warranty, as well as a 5-year / 150 000 km roadside assistance plan and 5-year / 90 000 km service plan.
