Masterchef SA Season 3 winner revealed
JOBURG - MASTERCHEF SA has announced the winner of Season 3 as Roxi Wardman.
As the saying goes, “If you can’t stand the heat get out of the kitchen.”
Masterchef Season 3 produced two women finalists, Sipho Mdlankomo and Wardman who completed a set of three challenges for their final test that ultimately led to the winner being chosen.
The finalists completed their final tests under the watchful eye of culinary legend and MasterChef Professionals judge Marco Pierre White at the live finale held at the Sandton Convention Centre.
By the end of the nerve-racking night and after the nail-biting challenges were completed, judges declared the winner. Wardman won R500 000 in cash from Robertson’s, a brand new VW Tiguan, R100 000 worth in food from Woolworths, a trip to the French winelands for her and a partner, as well as a year’s worth of wines from Nederburg, and a glamorous five night stay at the Maia Luxury Resort and Spa in the Seychelles, courtesy of Tsogo Sun.
Mdlankomo was not left empty handed as she also received a runner-up prize of R100 000 cash from Robertson’s.
