This is no Pi in the sky

BRYANSTON – Learners from each grade enjoyed a two-hour session of learning with the Junior Engineers for Africa.

The learners at Brescia House School joined mathematicians around the world in celebrating Pi Day.

Pi Day is celebrated on March 14 as the digits in the date represent their first three values of Pi.

According to the school’s head of marketing and admissions Helga Bishop, the intermediate phase learners took part in problem-solving and brain-building activities.
