Rose Johnson, who’s chaired Friends of the Field and Study (FOFS) for the past 17 years, said, “He’s always been a favourite with his size and happy colours.”
She added that Dino got his new look about six weeks ago, and he’s ready to welcome everyone for rides, slides, picnics and parties.
“We want people to enjoy this precious, peaceful open space.”
Johnson pointed out that the park has been a designated conservation area for years, with FOFS working to protect, preserve and promote it for all to share.
Johnson explained that she has been involved with the park for nearly three decades, saying seeing community members pitch in to care for Dino shows how much people value this special spot.
