Brescia House School brings Hairspray to life on stage

Brescia House School learners lit up the stage with a vibrant production of Hairspray.

Brescia House School hosted its high school musical production, Hairspray, on February 7, drawing an enthusiastic audience of parents, peers, and staff.

The well-loved musical, set in 1960s Baltimore, follows teenager Tracy Turnblad as she chases her dream of dancing on television while standing up against discrimination and social barriers.

Learners brought the story to life through bold performances, colourful costumes, and lively musical numbers.

The production showcased the school’s strong performing arts programme, with learners taking centre stage, not only as actors and dancers, but also as part of the backstage and technical teams.
