Sandton Gate comes alive as runners and walkers support global charity run
From seasoned runners to casual walkers, Johannesburg locals showed up in large numbers for the Wings for Life World Run.
Locals gathered at Sandton Gate Shopping Centre on May 10 for the Wings for Life World Run, joining participants around the world in support of spinal cord injury research.
Hosted by Soleful Social Run Club and JHB Club Collective, the event attracted runners, walkers, and supporters from across the city, all taking part in the unique global race where participants continue moving until caught by a virtual catcher car.

The atmosphere at Sandton Gate was filled with energy as local run crews, fitness enthusiasts, and families came together for the afternoon event. DJs, coffee stations, giveaways, and brand activations added to the lively community spirit.
