Learners excited about their first year in school

BORDEAUX – Grade 1 learners at Bordeaux Primary School look forward to their schooling years.

During the opening of schools on January 12, enthusiastic Grade 1 learners flock to their respective schools to start their academic journey.

Randburg Sun visited Bordeaux Primary school when children were enjoying their lunch after attending morning classes.

Grade 1 learners at the school are divided into four classes. Each class accommodates 30 learners.

One of the Grade 1 teachers, Ntombi Nyoni, said she enjoyed the morning class with the learners. She said children were excited and enjoyed being at school.

“The kids are so excited. When you give them instructions, they were taking them,” she said.
