
Meeting Anna the St Bernard and her proud owner Christopher Blignaut.
She said that it had been six to eight years since adopting Anna as a companion when she was born.
“We adopted her from a breeder down in the south of Joburg,” Blignaut said. “She’s very friendly.”
Blignaut laughed off the suggestion that Anna would have any clothes, pointing out her lush, furry coat.
“I mean, it’s stylish enough,” said Blignaut.

Anna the St Bernard who resides in Bryanston enjoys her time in the outdoors the most, enjoys being around people, and isn’t a picky eater at all.
“This dog will eat anything that’s not nailed,” Blignaut said. “You can give her a carrot, she’ll love it; you can give her meat, she’ll love it. Anything.”
