A year of triumph and togetherness at Bryanston Sports Club
With padel fever spreading, athletes earning accolades, and a crucial lease battle underway, 2025 has been a year of momentum and meaning for Bryanston Sports Club.
2025 has been nothing short of exceptional for Bryanston Sports Club, a year marked by renewed momentum, proud achievements, and an ever-stronger sense of community.
At the heart of the excitement has been the club’s newest gem, the NextGen Padel Centre, which recently completed its first full year.
The club’s general manager, Pat Carolin, said, “What a year it’s been. The courts have become a buzzing social hub, alive with friendly rivalry, echoing laughter, and the kind of spirited banter that makes sport so much more than just a game.”

But the club’s success extends well beyond its flourishing padel scene. Across tennis, bowls, squash, and other disciplines, Bryanston athletes have shone brightly, earning recognition at local, provincial, and even national levels.
“These achievements not only celebrate personal excellence, but also reflect the strength of the club’s sporting culture. And as any Bryanston member will tell you, victories feel even sweeter when toasted with friends at the club bar afterwards.”
This year’s progress wasn’t limited to sporting accolades. Behind the scenes, Bryanston Sports Club engaged in a determined battle to secure its long-term lease, a crucial milestone to ensure the club continues to deliver accessible, high-quality sporting facilities to the community.
With the process now moving toward public participation, the call for support has never been clearer.

“This lease is not just a document, it’s our future. We’ve fought hard to reach this point, and now we need our members and neighbours to stand with us. Together, we can safeguard the next 53 years of sport, friendship, and fun at Bryanston Sports Club.”
This holiday, the club is encouraging everyone to stay active and enjoy the facilities. A little tennis or padel now, they joke, might spare you from paying the price of rice come January.
“Whether you’re chasing a good sweat, a great rally, or simply good company, the club remains open, warm, and welcoming.”
“We want this festive season to be safe, joyful, and filled with laughter.
Whether you’re joining us for a game, a relaxed lunch, or a cold drink with friends, know that Bryanston Sports Club is your community home, today and for many years to come.”
