Reports on X from Vision Tactical indicate that a shooting between suspects and law enforcement occurred on May 8.

District police spokesperson Captain Jeff Phora, confirmed the incident. He stated that the details are still unclear at this time and the crime scene is still active. “The preliminary Police report suggests that there was a robbery in Centurion. The suspects were intercepted on old JHB road, attempting to escape to Alexandra,” he said.
“The incident started in Centurion. Gunfire was exchanged between suspects and police. I will comment as soon more information is available.”
