Crawford International Sandton advocates for zebra conservation

With striking art and fun facts, Crawford International Sandton’s World Zebra Day celebration inspired action for zebra conservation.

Crawford International Sandton proudly achieved WESSA platinum status for the second consecutive year, highlighting their commitment to environmental education. Learners actively participated in a creative and educational celebration of World Zebra Day.

WESSA Platinum status is recognised by the Wildlife and Environment Society of South Africa, reflecting the school’s ongoing efforts to integrate environmental responsibility into its curriculum and extramural.

Grade 7 learners led the charge, crafting 350 zebra finger puppets, which they distributed to younger learners, sharing fun zebra facts along the way. This hands-on activity fostered collaboration and creativity among all involved.
