Young Picassos shine at Montrose Pre-Primary art evening
From tiny hands to big imaginations, Montrose Pre-Primary celebrates creativity with a night of art, friendship, and fun.
Montrose Pre-Primary came alive with colour, creativity, and celebration as parents and families gathered for the school’s special art expo on October 22.
Held only once every three years, the event showcased the artistic talents of children aged two to six.
From abstract paintings to themed masterpieces, the evening highlighted the imagination and hard work of the youngest artists.

Parents wandered through the displays, enjoying not just the art, but a warm, festive atmosphere where they could mingle and connect.

Fiona Niemand, principal of Montrose Pre-Primary, said, “It’s a special moment for our families. We believe that every child is an artist, and tonight we get to celebrate their creativity, their effort, and their unique perspectives.

It’s also a wonderful opportunity for parents to meet, share stories, and feel part of our Montrose family.”
The evening also featured gardening projects by the little ones, adding a touch of green to the colourful artworks.
