Two illegal firearms recovered in Sebokeng

Police continue to intensify crime intelligence-driven operations aimed at removing illegal firearms.

SEBOKENG.-  A Crime Intelligence-driven operation conducted by members of the SAPS Sedibeng Tactical Response Team (TRT) has led to the arrest of a 44-year-old man and the recovery of two 9mm firearms and ammunition in Sebokeng.

Police said that the operation was conducted on Monday, August 10, at approximately 06:30.

During a search of the premises, police recovered a modified Beretta 9mm pistol, a Glock 9mm pistol, 13 live rounds of ammunition and one blank round.
