Young woman died on N1 in the Vaal

Young women flung from vehicle after it rolled on the N1 highway near Vanderbijlpark.

VANDERBIJLPARK. – A 25-year-old woman sadly died after the driver of the car she was travelling in lost control of the vehicle on the N1 near the Vanderbijlpark offramp earlier today (Saturday December 10).
ER24 Spokesperson Chitra Bodasing Harduth reports that ER24 and government EMS attended to the incident. They found the vehicle that had rolled onto the side of the road.
The woman was laying near the vehicle. According to the driver and bystanders, the woman, who was the front passenger, was hanging from the safety belt out of the window. The driver apparently unhooked the safety belt and placed the woman on the ground near the vehicle. Upon assessment the paramedics found that she sustained multiple injuries.
Sadly there was nothing that could be done for her and she was declared dead on the seen. The driver sustained minor injuries. He was transported to hospital for further medical care. It is believed that the man and woman are from India.
The exact details surrounding the incident are unknown. Authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
