Over 40 people arrested in Sebokeng

The crimes range from possession of dagga, drugs, arson, drunken driving, assault, theft, rape, shoplifting, contempt of court and common assault.

SEBOKENG. – Police Spokesperson Captain Teboho Lephoto reports that  more than 40 people were arrested over the weekend by Sebokeng Police for various crimes.

Lephoto states that the arrests were made during weekend operations. “The crimes range from possession of dagga, drugs, arson, drunken driving, assault, theft, rape, shoplifting, contempt of court and common assault.

“Most of the suspects will start to appear before the Sebokeng magistrate court as of today.

“We wish to urge the community members to report any crimes in their respective communities and participate in their various structures of the Community Policing Forums(CPF).”
