29 People arrested over the weekend
VANDERBIJLPARK - The Vanderbijlpark SAPS says crime has decrease in the area, although house robberies and motor theft showed an increase.

Police spokesperson Sergeant Gertrude Makhale said in her weekend crime report that house burglaries, while residents are not home showed a decrease, however, areas such as SE6, SW5, Rosashof Plotte and Bophelong was affected. Items stolen include televisions, CDs, mobile phones, laptops, a kettle, shoes and cash.
Makhale said 29 suspects were arrested for several crimes over the weekend of which 19 were arrested for drunken driving and six people for drug-related crimes.
Some suspects have also been arrested for crimes such as possession of allegedly stolen goods, rape, murder and hijacking
