SEBOKENG. – Sebokeng Police Spokesperson Captain Teboho Lephoto has confirmed that the body of missing taxi driver, Thabo Hlatshwayo (31) was found at a mortuary in Diepkloof, Soweto last week.

Hlatshwayo went missing after the taxi he drives was stolen from his home weeks ago and his family had asked the community to help find him. Lephoto says preliminary investigations showed that Hlatshwayo had been shot and that his body had injuries as though he was assaulted.

“The missing person’s case has changed to that of murder. No arrests have been made and investigations are still ongoing.” Lephoto concludes.
