A man was killed late last night (11-11-2017) when he was ejected from his vehicle when it rolled on a mine road in Fochville.
Russel Meiring, spokesperson for ER24, reports that paramedics arrived on the scene and found the light motor vehicle lying on its side on the side of the road. The body of the driver was found lying a few metres away from the vehicle.
Paramedics assessed the man and found that he had sustained numerous injuries with his vital signs rapidly diminishing.
Paramedics immediately began their treatment and initiated CPR interventions. Unfortunately, after some time, the man succumbed to his injuries. Nothing more could be done and he was declared dead.
The local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
