SHARPEVILLE. – It is reported that a Sharpeville man handed himself over to the Police on Sunday after he allegedly stabbed and killed his wife Mpho Mile (33) with a pair of scissors in the early hours of the morning.

Paseka Mabitsela, the brother of the deceased states they received a call from the husband who said that he had stabbed someone. “At the time we did not think that he stabbed Mpho. We rushed to their home and on our arrival, we found his sister already there.

“The husband was not there. I went straight into the house, when I entered the bedroom, my sister’s lifeless body lay on the bed, covered in blood.” Mabitsela says that the entire family is really shocked by the incident. “Mpho was someone who loved and took care of the family. She was hard working.”

Mpho’s aunt, Lettie Maaroganhe said, “I am so broken. My sister passed away and I had taken Mpho in as my daughter. I still can’t believe that she is no more. I just hope that her killer rots in jail.”
