VANDERBIJLPARK. – A 65-year-old male was successfully resuscitated after collapsing at a school event in Vanderbijlpark late yesterday afternoon.
ER24 paramedics received the call from community members who attended the event.
The man collapsed and went into a cardiac arrest. A medic at the event, along with a doctor and a nurse, immediately initiated CPR on the man. When paramedics arrived on the scene shortly after six, the man had regained vital signs but was still in a critical condition. ER24 transported the man to Mediclinic Emfuleni for urgent medical care.
