The Rates Office of Emfuleni Local Municipality will be temporarily closed until further notice. Spokesperson Chuchi Radebe says in a statement the office will be closed due to a necessary containment of the sewer overflow at the Sedibeng District Municipality. According to Radebe all service-related queries can be referred to the Customer Care Office in Vanderbijlpark at No. 74 President Kruger Street. Account payments can be done through the EasyPay facilities at any Woolworths, Friendly, Checkers, Pick ‘n Pay and the SA Post Office. The municipality apologises for any inconvenience caused.
