Kgomoco Primary School award learners for hard work

SHARPEVILLE.- Kgomoco Primary School in Sharpeville recently hosted an award ceremony for learners from grade 1-7 for their academic achievements in various subjects this year.

This award ceremony, a first of its kind, was graced by Dr Sally Dzingwa from Vaal University of Technology (VUT) and VUT FM presenter, Mercy Mohau Makole.
The event housed two PHDs and laid a good foundation which inspired many of the learners to look up to and work even harder. Parents couldn’t hold back their tears of joy as one of overall winners, Tlholo Serero in Grade 7, scooped 9 certificates with an aggregate of 96%. The overall winners each received an opportunity to share their experience with the local community in a slot on VUT FM.
The school principal, Dr Letsatsi Moeketsi, wished the learners well in their future endeavours and thanked parents for their continued support.
