The suspect was arrested during Operation Okae Molao after police stopped a white van.

Police spokesperson captain Fikile Funda says, “During the stop and search process, two occupants were searched and police found plastics containing Crystal Meth and CAT with a street value of R300 000 on one occupant.

“The suspect who is in his early 20s  was detained and a case of dealing in drugs is being investigated.”

Funda further reports the arrest of of 33 people in the Vereeniging vicinity for crimes ranging from driving under the influence, Dealing in drugs, business breaking, shoplifting, possession of suspected stolen property as well as assault.

” All the arrested people have  appeared  in Vereeniging magistrate court.” Funda concludes.
