VANDERBIJLPARK. – Greif S.A through its Vanderbijlpark branch recently made a difference in the environment and the community at large by donating dustbins to two different schools in Sebokeng recently.

Greif, a global leader in industrial packaging products and services donated ten dustbins to Thandokwazi Secondary School and fifteen dustbins to Siviwe Primary School.

The company’s Palesa Matsose said, “We sent the bins a bit early to Thandukwazi on the morning of February 25 and we followed behind with a car. To our delight when we arrived at the school they had already utilized the bins and placed them in their designated areas, this was really a great gesture to see and understand that they really needed the bins and we could be able to assist as part of our CSI programme.”

The entourage also visited Siviwe Primary School to deliver the donations which thepupils had been patiently waiting for.

Siviwe Principal, Mrs Selai said that they are really grateful as a school for the donation as this will ensure that the learners will keep the environment clean by cleaning after themselves.

“This was difficult in the past because of lack of resources.”
