The fact that we faced a pandemic and lockdown this year resulted in a serious economic crunch in the Vaal Triangle.
We cannot ignore the fact that the need in our area is bigger than ever before.
LUSA Community Chest has again taken up the challenge to see how many smiles they – in collaboration with local businesses and the general community – can put on children’s faces to end the year on a more positive note. Children in LUSA’s registered organisations will receive a quality age-appropriate gift.
To meet this challenge LUSA invite the community and business fraternity to become a partner in this Christmas project.
All gifts will be handed over to the various organisations on November 27 this year.
Main sponsors are welcome to attend the official handing over of the gifts.
IFM 102.2 and MooiVaal Media are again the media sponsors for the project and will provide high profile media coverage.
Options to become a partner:
1. Sponsor one or more children at R150 per child to cover the cost of their gifts.
2. Donate any amount of your choice towards the project as a CSI investment or as an individual.
3. Adopt and sponsor an organization.
4. Generate donations of any amount among your employees as an employee initiative. (For example, decorate a Christmas tree with children’s names in your reception area.)
