ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene shortly after 23:00 to find the light motor vehicle upright against the concrete fence. A man and woman were found seated outside the vehicle.

Medics assessed the patients and found that both had sustained numerous serious injuries.
The patients were treated for their injuries and were provided with pain-relief medication before they were transported to nearby hospitals for further care.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
