Local boy in Amajimbos’ camp for AFCON U17

If he impresses the national technical staff, Hlongwane will be part of Amajimbos team that will compete at AFCON.

SEDIBENG. – Talented local boy, Njabulo Hlongwane (16) from Sebokeng is currently in camp for the SA U/17 National Team in preparation for the forthcoming 2021 AFCON scheduled to take place in Morocco from 13-31 March.

If he impresses the national technical staff, Hlongwane will be part of Amajimbos team that will compete at AFCON. This Kaizer Chiefs young striker’s future looks promising if his current performance is anything to go by.

Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport Hlongwane said that just being invited to the national team camp means a lot and that this is a great experience to learn from the best.
“I’m grateful for this opportunity to be invited to the camp. I will always cherish this experience for the rest of my life taking into consideration how many youngsters out there want this opportunity. I’m working extremely hard every day at training to impress the technical staff. It was always my dream to represent my country at the highest level in football,” said Hlongwane
