SHARPEVILLE.- Perfect Academy beat Vaal United FC 2-1 in an end-to-end SAFA Sedibeng SAB League match at George Thabe Stadium in Sharpeville over the weekend.

The home team, Perfect Academy, was the first to break the deadlock before the visitors cancelled the lead.

At one stage the game looked like it was going to end with the score being 1-1, but Perfect Academy found a winning goal five minutes before the end of the game following a ‘school boy error’ between the young goalkeeper and his defence which resulted into a goal.

Vaal United FC was a better team in second half after they made some changes at half time.
They were unlucky not to have scored as soon as the restart of the second half pilling pressure at their opponent’s defence.
Vaal United FC coaching staff have themselves to be blamed for losing this game as they started with their key players on the bench and when they came on they made a huge difference.
*Meanwhile, Ghetto Seven FC registered their first win of the season when they beat newly promoted Tornado FC 1-0 in a dull SAB League match at the same venue.
